Unlock HS device
Unlocking will allow you to reset your Mini Maxx tuner, allowing it to be used on a different vehicle. This unlock removes previous device lock restrictions, giving you the flexibility to tune another vehicle with ease.

Select the subtype
We need to know the subtype of your V1 device.
It is highly recommended to take a few minutes to check it before you place your answer!

How to decide the V1 subtype
This guide will show how to decide if your tuner is V1-Regular or V1-Alpha.
Steps:
Generate a root code.
Check if ANY characters of the Root code are the letter "G" or higher? (G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z)
If you see any of the above characters, you can be 100% sure that it is a V1-ALPHA.
Else, if ALL the characters are numbers or A, B, C, D, E, F, then repeat generating a new root code.
If you have repeated the above instructions 4 times, then you can be sure that it's a V1-REGULAR.
This process should take just a few minutes.
